Get ready for Camp Parsons
August 11 - 16th

We plan on traveling to camp as a troop, leaving St. Charles on Aug 11th to arrive at Camp Parsons around 1:00 PM. The details will be determined during the prior troop meeting.

REMINDER: Please make sure the Scoutmaster has your completed medical forms A, B, and C. Without these forms, you won't be able to enter Camp Parsons on August 11th. This applies to both Scouts and chaperones.

Deadlines to know:
July 31st - Final camp roster due
Aug. 7th - Medical forms due

The troop is still deciding on the badges and the advancements they’ll work on at camp.

The format of camp is 3 sessions in morning with lots of flexibility after lunch for extra work if desired.

On average, each Scout should advance 1 or 2 ranks and obtain 2 – 4 merit badges (with at least 2 of them Eagle requirements) by the end of camp.

Tentative Schedule:

9-10AM Scout Skills – for either Scout or Tenderfoot rank

9-10AM Wilderness Survival – for those who have already achieved Scout and Tenderfoot

10-11AM First Aid – Eagle Scout Required

11-12PM Swimming – Eagle Scout Required
